Arrival by:

Arriving via Munich (D) / Innsbruck (A) / Brenner:
Take the Brenner motorway (A22) to the Brixen/Pustertal exit and continue on the national road (SS49-E66) to Welsberg and on to Taisten.

Arrival via Lienz (A):
Approaching from Lienz in East Tyrol (A), pass the Austrian-Italian border in Sillian (B100-E66) and continue on the national road (SS49-E66) to Pustertal/Welsberg and on to Taisten.

Important information:
In Italy, the use of the motorway is subject to tolls. From 15 November to 15 April, winter tyres are compulsory for cars and trucks in South Tyrol, regardless of prevailing weather conditions.

Coming from Munich or Innsbruck, take the Brenner railway line to Franzensfeste. From there you can take local trains to Welsberg and bus connections (line bus 441 or city bus no. 438) on to Taisten.
Coming from Lienz in East Tyrol via Innichen to Welsberg and then by bus (bus number 441 or city bus number 438) to Taisten.
